Up for sale is my 97 M3, good condition, engine is strong and runs great, manual transmission works fine, no leaks anywhere. It has a DINAN cold air intake and performance chip. The Differential is a 3.38 LSD from the M3 automatic, giving it more torque and acceleration.
I added HR racing springs with the stock Motorsport suspension. Good combination and handling. Further it has a illuminated Motorsport gearknob with a short shift kit and E46 M3 rear view mirror.
The actual mileage is 210276 but the engine was rebuilt and resealed about 3 years ago. The car recently got new rotors and pads, waterpump, thermostat, and starter. All parts original BMW. There are no issues with the drivetrain at all, A/C blows ice cold.

On the pictures you see a standard muffler which is empty and sounds like a E46 M3 exhaust. I still have a very nice stainless steel muffler with great sound, which will be included or will be installed if you want to.
I bought the car with a carbon fiber hood, but replaced it with a brand new original BMW hood recently. The new hood has been professionally painted. The hood was 700$ including paint job. I spent around 3000$ in OEM parts since I own the car. Now, that the car is in nearly perfect condition I have to sell it, because I will be living in a different country for the next few years.
As this is a used car it does have a few issues:
a dent in the right front fender (see picture)
chip in windshield (since years and it never bothered me)
rims are replica and not in good condition, tires need to be replaced soon
leather seats in GOOD condition except drivers seat from getting in and out of car
On Ebay you will find very nice original M3 wheels (rims including tires) for 500$ !!! I would recommend the Motorsport or LTW wheels (500$ for a complete set, been watching them since half a year).

I will not end the auction and sell the car via buy it now. The reserve is met already and the car will be sold to the highest bidder.
I ran a CARFAX report today and the title is TOTALLY CLEAR. The previous owner was a salesman and drove over 70.000 miles on it in 2.5 years. He also had the engine rebuilt in 2006, where he also had the clutch, timing chain, water pump, thermostat replaced by his personal BMW Tech. He does not have any paperwork and I can´t proove this, though.
The stainles stell exhaust has been mounted to the car, but the other one is included, too. Foglights also.
The car comes without a radio.
When I had the hood painted, I also had the left rear quarter panel painted, due to a bigger scratch ( in the paint only).
TWS Motorsport oil has been used in this engine. It does take a little oil, but this is normal in ///M engines. Thats the reason, why they have a sticker, reminding you to check the oil level in the cluster. I usually check the oil level every 4 weeks and refill no more than 0.5 liters. It does not smoke at any times.
The SRS Airbag light is on and the left front plastic wheelhouse liner is missing, but I will see the dealership on monday to have this fixed, before the car is being sold.

the car was a non-smoker car, but I did smoke in it for half a year, then stopped because I was sick of ashes on the carpet. I cleaned the car after that. It does not smell.
The rear strut mounts have been replaced recently by M3 E46 mounts. The strut towers are not damaged or have rust at all (seems to be an issue with certain E36 models).
The car does not smoke while starting the engine or while downshifting. It does not smoke at all. It just needs a little oil in a while as every ///M does.
I do not have any paperwork for the engine rebuilt, but all gaskets, bearings and seals, timing chain, water pump, thermostat have been replaced at about 160.000 miles according to the pre-owner. As I said there are no leaks at all and the engine is strong and runs well.
All electrical components work well and there are no problems at all. Same thing mechanically.
Except for the listed issues on top, there are no further problems with this car.
If I would´nt have to sell the car I would definitively keep it, a set of BMW MOTORSPORT wheels and thats about all you have to do.
